1972 BMW 2002 TOURING . this car is sold on consignment.if you are looking for a touring , then you know what you are looking at , if not , this car was never offered in the US and it was bought in the netherland and was driven 500kms to belguim with no problems and then it was shipped to the US. this car is a great start for a good project.mechanically its in a very good shape for its age , driven few times on 250 mile trip to austin and back without missing a beat . the engine runs very smooth , transmission feels great , clutch grips very good and runs down the hwy at 60 mph with little effort.
the body will require some attention , but the solid bones are there , no rust in the frames , shock towers or any structural part on the car , there is some rust around the car which can be easily repaired . i got pictures of every angle of the car so check them out.
the 2002 is a car that is greatly appreciating collector non the less the touring model , which there is only very few in the US.
